Meet Nell Mack

Nell Mack was born and raised in the vibrant Crescent City of New Orleans. Growing up in a place that knows how to celebrate, she became no stranger to the magic of Mardi Gras. Inspired by the Big Easy’s natural beauty—the winding Mississippi River, ancient oaks, lively streetcars, and the city’s boundless energy—Nell found the spark that led to the creation of Bead Trees.

When she’s not writing, Nell enjoys reading, walking along the Mississippi River, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She hopes readers will find as much joy in her stories as she does in watching the trees—especially those adorned with colorful beads!
